Mick Hall

Mick Hall is a director of a number of start-up and emerging enterprises and runs his sole practitioner advisory business based in Collins Street in Melbourne. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia having qualified in 1976 and was a Partner in Ernst & Young for 18 years.

During his Professional career Mick was a respected tax practitioner involved in many major transactions and cross border M&A activities as well as retaining an interest in new and emerging enterprise. He also held senior roles in his firm in relation to operational management and leadership of specialist areas of expertise across the major disciplines of the firm. His experience over many years in the Technology, Communications and Entertainment sectors underpins his contribution to early stage and emerging companies in relation to their technology evolution strategies, market access and capital, cash management and reporting practices.

Mick is currently Chairman of Modern Media Concepts Pty Ltd the owner of world first technology for "On Product Publishing" and Pootilla Corporation Pty Ltd which delivers leading edge solutions to the bulk packaged water industry through its patented "bag-in-a-box" dispenser systems.Other companies include "End Point" security applications for mobile/removable computing devices and wireless video applications with particular application in the Police and Emergency Services market, Health and Education verticals within the communications market.
