flaik Inc. Expands GPS System to 9 resorts in North America

BOULDER, CO - December 18, 2009 - Boulder based company, flaik Inc.,
announces 7 new resort partners have committed to providing its leading edge realtime
GPS based system to resort guests. In addition to Intrawest resorts Copper
Mountain and Steamboat, new resort partners now include Intrawest resorts Winter
Park, Stratton, Mont Tremblant and Whistler Blackcomb, JMA resorts Alpine
Meadows and Homewood Mountain in the Lake Tahoe region of California and
independent resort Smuggler's Notch in Vermont for the 2009/10 Winter season.
This winter season will see the flaik service included as mandatory in every ski and
ride lesson for children's programs at partner resorts. This commitment ensures the
very best in safety, security and peace of mind for parents concerned that resorts
know exactly where their child is during their day on the mountain. The service
offering will also be extended and available for daily rentals to individuals, families
and groups who wish to track their day on the mountain, recording total runs,
average speed, total vertical feet and locate other friends and family members. Via
the flaik web application at www.flaik.com users of the service will be able to re-live
their day and share it with family and friends via the web and social networks
including Facebook and Twitter.

"The continued growth of flaik demonstrates the commitment that our partner
resorts have to safety and increasing value within each of their respective resorts,"
said Michael Bosscher, flaik Chairman & CEO. "By clearly demonstrating their
commitment to increased safety, security and peace of mind through real-time
location management, in addition to enhancing the ski school experience by
enabling students to track their day (vertical, distance, speed) and compare it with
friends, flaik's partner resorts are leading the industry in delivering customer
value."

Today, flaik adds a new management tool to resorts' ski schools by enabling them
to track every individual student and instructor on the mountain in real-time,
providing additional safety and security for participants while reducing management
overheads for resort operators. Using GPS-enabled tags assigned to each individual,
the flaik system can locate individuals, allow instructors and Ski & Snowboard
School supervisors to monitor students and enables Ski Patrol to dispatch key
support when and where needed.

Some recent quotes from flaik resort partners:

"The flaik solution is already proving to be a valuable differentiator and could
become a standard feature across all of our resorts," said Intrawest Chief Marketing
Officer Andy Wirth, " Our instructors appreciate it the kids think its cool and parents
appreciate the peace of mind and comfort level they gain with this technology".
"Parents this season can look forward to a little more peace-of-mind knowing that
we'll be able to track their children, using flaik's GPS system, no matter where they
are on the mountains. So far, the response from parents and children has been
overwhelmingly positive," says Donna Kerr, General Manager, Whistler Kids. "Our
goal at Whistler Kids is to give our young guests the perfect blend of skill
development, mountain exploration and fun social interaction in the safest
environment possible."

"There are really two reasons for incorporating GPS tracking into our programs,"
said Doug Pierini, Director of Ski and Snowboard School at Alpine Meadows and
Homewood. "Primarily, the GPS tracking device offers an additional element of
safety. Secondarily, the GPS device offers a real element of fun: a child can log
onto the resorts' websites after a day of skiing with the GPS device and view the
trails he or she skied during a given day," he added.
Harley Johnson, director of Smugglers' Snow Sport University: "Last year I saw
firsthand how useful and fun the flaik GPS could be when I participated in the Helly
Hansen Big Mountain Battle at Smugglers'. My team's flaik GPS tracked our route,
mileage and speed, and I immediately started thinking of its applications for
Smugglers' snow sports program. By offering a flaik GPS for day use as an inclusion
in our children's all-day ski and snowboard program, parents will be able to see
where their child ski or rode during their visit to Smuggs. What a great way to
initiate family conversation about the ski day and relive the day's experiences! And
operationally, use of the flaik GPS will provide additional support to our
management and instructor teams in terms of monitoring kids' activities and
facilitating contact if need be. Our guests will also have access to rental units of the
GPS systems. As a parent and snow sports program director, I'm very excited
about the opportunity that partnering with flaik offers to Smugglers' and our
guests."
